The habitats of these water-preserving plants are often in areas with high temperatures and low rainfall, such as\u00a0<a title=\"Desert\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Desert\">deserts<\/a>, but succulents may be found even in\u00a0<a title=\"Alpine climate\"
